Digital Reporter/Audio Engineer

As a Digital Court Reporter at Veritext Legal Solutions, I capture, annotate, and preserve the official record of legal proceedings such as arbitrations, depositions, examinations under oath, and hearings conducted in both remote and in-person environments. My responsibilities include preparing signal flow, swearing in the witness, monitoring primary and backup audio recordings in real time, identifying and tagging speakers, logging procedural notes, marking exhibits, and officiating the proceeding. Upon completion, I organize and export all materials in a structured format for transcript production and quality assurance.

As an Audio Engineer at The University of Texas at Austin's Liberal Arts Instructional Technology Services (LAITS), some of my daily tasks included meeting with all productional staff to go over run of show documentation, setting up and monitoring audio for university-wide broadcasts, and overseeing the completion of podcast productions all the way from initial recording to post-production and publishing. Out of 50+ remote and in-studio productions I have worked on, these are some of my recurring favorites.

Digital Evidence Analyst

In this project, I developed a simulated digital evidence production workflow modeled after the responsibilities of a Digital Evidence Analyst supporting the Office of Special Investigation within the New York Attorney General’s Office. The project was designed to replicate the review and disclosure process associated with Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) requests involving critical incidents such as officer-involved shootings. Using publicly available body-worn camera footage, I conducted a full evidence intake and preservation process including MD5 integrity verification, separation of original and working copies, and structured evidence tracking. I then performed statute-based video redactions and compiled documentation consistent with disclosure procedures under NY Public Officers Law §87(2), including a redaction log, metadata report, internal tracking sheet, and production memorandum. The completed project demonstrates an end-to-end workflow for preparing sensitive digital media for legal review and public release while maintaining evidentiary integrity and clear documentation standards.

Investigative Researcher

This project includes emerging research and thought processes that have been developed and refined overtime to address the topic of creativity as a sustainable practice in music production, representing the culmination of my academic pursuits in completing a master's thesis towards Music Technology at New York University.

Below is a brief summary of my thesis titled, "Objective Creativity: Optimization of Creative Choices in Music Production":

The optimization of creative choices in music production through objective creativity, consists of conducting cross-sectional analysis and application of principles primarily ranging from music technology, music psychology, quantum mechanics, and neuroscience. These principles, which are also supplemented by gathered processes from topics involving metaphysics and general psychology, are implemented together with the overarching goal of optimizing creative choices in music production through an objective framework that consistently produces novelty withstanding certain constraints not yet realized but within the range of concepts like beauty, truth, relevance, etc.

The methodological framework, inspired by inductive reasoning, aims to enable any artist to express their music as effectively and efficiently as possible, and considers two major questions: In what objective measures can the brain be considered creative through music production? How can creative expressions under these measures be accurately expressed through music so as to induce and allow the perception of particular emotions in a listener?

Research findings indicate that the created framework has an overall positive impact on artists with fewer than 7 years of digital audio workstation experience, by reducing their negative mood affective states during the creative process.

Producer/Recording Engineer/Mixing Engineer/Mastering Engineer

As an avid audiophile, any kind of sonic creation which expresses emotions, ideas, or tells stories is a subject matter that never ceases to pique my intrigue. Recently, music production has filled the majority of my days, whether I am developing my own music or helping develop those of others. Here are some examples:
