Jazz Demo Day 3

Towards the end of my college tenure, I had the opportunity to set up the live room for what would be my 3rd jazz demo day experience with the studio. My responsibilities included choosing the appropriate microphones, positioning them in accordance with each instrument, and ensuring proper signal paths while adhering to the studio's hybrid workflow. After the demo, I received the session and was tasked with editing and transforming the recorded songs into a polished, presentable form. I made careful observations and decisions across every aspect of audio processing in order to best compliment the jazz band and aesthetic, which includes gain staging, panning, dynamic processing, and audio analysis.
