Mastered a full-length album titled "NAIVE" for the artist "Jordan" that was released during the summer of 2023.
Took these processes into account as I went along:
▪ Vetted the Mix
- The better the mix the better the master.
- Tested the mix on a wide variety of systems (studio, cars, clubs, homes,
portable systems.)
- Blind A/B'd the master against the mix at matched loudness.
- Match exactly with “integrated” LUFS.
- Re-visited master on a new day
- A/B'd the mast against at least three good sounding references.
- Kept the mastering process fast and fresh. If it took longer than 20 minutes, I would revisit the mix
- Avoided over-processing
▪ Vetted the Master
- Tested the master on a wide variety of systems (cars, homes, other portable systems)
