Studio Technician

DESCRIPTION

As a Studio Technician for New York University's 370J Media Commons which hosted reservations spanning across a variety of multimedia endeavors, I was tasked with providing audiovisual services for the Music and Audio Research Laboratory (MARL), as well as the Performance Garage Facility, utilizing resources ranging from electrical termination tools, studio diagrams, and Technical One Sheet documents, to Dante/SDI enabled devices including Open Broadcaster Software (OBS), SSL Live 350 audio console, grandMA3 lighting console, and the Leprecon LP-612 lighting console. Other responsibilities included performing regular inventory checks and reservation one-sheet liasions.

Some notable productions and live performances include:

- 2022 IRCAM Forum (Institut de Recherche et Coordination Acoustique/Musique) which showcased new research and performances in music and sound, especially in the fields of avant garde and electro-acoustical art music. 

- Dawn Richard's panel discussion and party celebration for her world-premiere release of the "Pigments" album 

-Prince #TripleThreat40 Symposium performance with Chris Rob, celebrating 40 years of Prince
