Ford Audio-Video

As an Installation Technician for Ford AV, a company specializing in audiovisual systems integration, I cooperated with Project Engineers, Project Managers, Job Superintendents, and other Installation Technicians to implement audio, video, lighting, and control systems at various job sites such as arenas, airports, stadiums, healthcare centers, entertainment venues, and more.​

This involved holding daily Microsoft Teams meetings with all project staff to go over tasks and safety concerns, reading site diagrams on Fieldwire and consistently updating them with corrections and/or photo documentation throughout the day, and using a variety of tools including bonded pair separator, cable cutter, CAT LAN tester, crimpers, drill kit, fish tape, micro cutter, locking pliers, powder-actuated nail gun, punch down tools, tone and probe kit, voltage detectors, and many others in order to complete a given task.

Responsibilities include pulling cable, making cable/rack terminations, device install/mounting, system testing, and troubleshooting.
